The Homeless Agency is responsible for the planning, co-ordination and administration of funding in relation to the provision of quality services to people who are homeless in the Dublin area and for the development of responses to prevent homelessness.

2010 is an important year for the Homeless Agency Partnership. We are working towards making sure that the need to sleep rough and long-term homelessness will be eliminated by year end. This is a key target contained in the Dublin Homeless Action Plan, A Key to the Door 2007-2010 and is a committment within National Homeless Strategy/Policy, The Way Home 2008-2013.

Homeless support services will be changing in Dublin over the forthcoming year and we will be keeping you updated in relation to the positive work being undertaken in terms of the provision of housing and support for people who are homeless.

Important Note:   No services will be decommissioned without an alternative in place for people accessing the service.
